~More Information~

The surgery will be Tuesday morning. It will take four to six hours. This is the surgeon's first surgery of the day. Please pray for God to work through this surgeon, that he will have steady hands, and be rested for this surgery. Jan is very nervous about having the surgeon. She said that being able to come home this weekend has been calming for her.

MD Anderson is very strict in the patient's vistors. They are only allowed 4 visitors per patient, which should be no problem, since Mom and Gerald will be there. The surgeon told Jan she should have an easier time this time since she will not be in a coma and she will know beforehand that she has had surgery.

Pray for Gerald and Mom as well as they will be alone during this surgery and recovery time, and the trip home.

Pray that Jan has a quick recovery and that all goes as planned.

I will post when I have information. I sent out an email last night to many asking prayer for Jan. I have had a tremendous response. Thank you seems so small, but thank you for joining us to readily in continuing to walk this journey with us.

Praise the LORD, I tell myself; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, I tell myself, and never forget the good things he does for me."Psalm 103:1-2

Love and hugs!
Cheryl

Hi Sis,
Oh I'm so glad I stopped by, I would not have wanted to miss this update. Pleas tell Jan that I will be interceding and also have told other prayer warriors to intercede as well. I will also be praying for you nad the rest of the family. May God peace be upon each of you and Jan. The Lord is near and I know he is the greatest physician and will guide the hands of the surgeons as well.
I will check back for more updates.

Hi, Cheryl! My goodness alot has happened while I've been away from blogland the last couple of weeks. I'll certainly be praying for Jan and your family that will be there with her as she has surgery. I sure wish I was closer to Houston.... Love you!

I am keeping Jan in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that she has a great outcome and that the Lord rests peace upon her and of course your family. This is so hard, but the outcome could mean that she is reassured that the MRI is only showing dead tissue. That would be awesome!

First thing in the morning!
Well, we're already praying that Jan have PEACE, as well as your whole family!
I've asked my friend down in Texas who attends a really big church to call her prayer chain, as well as my Mother in law in SD. Last night my church also prayed all together for her.
We stand in faith with you all.
GOD BLESS everyone one of you and may you feel God's love and peace all over you.
