~You Don't Face Life All Alone~

JOHN 14:18 NCV ~ "I will not leave you all alone like orphans;
I will come back to you.

Being alone -- with no help -- is a horrible feeling. One the
devil would love for you to believe is your lot.

You are NOT alone! Jesus promised!

When you feel alone, desolate, and helpless -- remember the
promises of Jesus.

HEBREWS 13:5 NIV ~ ...God has said, "I will never leave you; I will never abandon you."

Your feelings are not the true test of reality. God cannot lie.
He is with you now, whether you feel like it, or whether it
looks like it, or not.

Since God is always with you, it would be rude to always ignore
Him. So call on Him and discuss things with Him. Let God be
your friend. That's His plan.

Taken from Daily Devotion.

Blessings!

Cheryl,

I love this! Sometimes we think we are alone when the truth is we are NEVER alone!! Beautiful post today, my friend.

I would like to introduce you to a precious friend of mine who is new to blogging. Her name is Stephanie and her blog name is My Sacrifice of Praise. I've told her how much you all have embraced me and told her to come visit you but you know how it is when you are new and trying to figure things out.

Blessings to you today, sweet sister!!

Excellent devotion! And so true. The devil would love for us to believe we are alone, when quite the opposite is true.

Amen sister! Ain't it the truth! God is always with us ....so, we are never alone. Going through all the changes in my home...HE has carried me so much lately. So, glad HE never leaves me. Thanks for this reminder!

Have a fabulous weekend!

I am so THANKFUL that we are NOT ALONE. There's an old song "Never Alone"---I love the words:

"I'm never alone, no never alone, Christ Jesus is with me wherever I go, I hold to His hand, lean on His strong arm, He's ever with me...and I'm never alone."

(I'm surprised I remembered that much of it!)

You are a blessing Cheryl and I am GLAD to call you friend and SISTER!

What a very nice reminder. I think we "feel" we need that human presence so we "feel" alone when another human is not there. Of course, part of it is that God created us to be with others, commune with others, and that is why we desire it. The key is knowing He is all we need but that other people are icing on the cake.

Blessings,
Paula

This post makes me think of a song I've always loved..."I am Not Alone" by Natalie Grant. He is indeed ALWAYS beside us. Such comfort and peace this brings to our hearts...

Thanks for sharing!

The Devil loves to play on our lonliness when we think we have no one. He will lie to us, telling us no one ares, no one has time for us, and so on. But Jesus is always there for us whenever and wherever we are.
