~Testing~

Jan and her husband will leave first thing this morning to make their monthly trip to MD Anderson for testing. She will be having a blood work @ 7:00 p.m. tonight with MRI to follow. Then Wednesday she will see her oncologist to find out her results and plans @ 1:30.

Please join us as we pray for good results. This new treatment she has been on for, I believe 10 weeks now seems to have very minimal stomach problems. If you were to see and talk to her and you didn't know she had cancer, you wouldn't know it unless you were told. This week she will have a birthday, so what better gift, but news that the tumor had shrunk or was gone! It will also be 10 months on the 13th of this month since she had surgery. We are very grateful! God has been so good.

It is our desire that Jan is one who kicks cancer in the bootie and win this battle!

There was a special on all major networks last Friday, "Stand Up To Cancer." Pray that these efforts being made to join forces, raise money, etc. will be successful. Pray that their belief that they are at the brink of discovering how to prevent and cure, as well as detect cancer at very early stages is just around the corner.

The statistics for chances of getting cancer is astonishing!

Thank you for your prayers!

Blessings!

So grateful these recent treatments have been so tolerable. Praying they've been extraordinarily effective, too! You're right, that would be quite a birthday present! = )

I notice all the major stations had that "Stand Up To Cancer" program. I was really surprised but it was so neat! I had never seen all the stations join together for something like that. I've been involved in the Relay for Life for ten years now. I've lost so many to cancer but my grandmother remains alive and kickin' after surviving breast cancer for about 12 years now.

The advances in cancer treatment are so wonderful. May Jan see the wonderful results of it!!

Hi Cheryl,
I am praying and while I pray I am asking God to increase my faith. I don't want to just pray for Jan to be a miracle, I want to pray it with conviction!!

Thanks for always being such an encouragment to me.

Love to you-
Sheryl
