Is "Labor Day," supposed to be for relaxing and having a good time? Or, is it meant for LABOR? We didn't want to live in filth and it was starting to feel we were on our way!
Here are some "after" cleaning pictures today, that I thought I'd show you some of the "great finds I got a few years back at an
auction we used to frequent rather regularly.
The second pic is an old dresser that I have in my entry. It has an old clock that sits on it and a metal vase. I really should get a better pic of the vase, it has some great detail.
Now this 3rd pic is my chair and to the right is another old table that I got an the auction. To the left is an old trunk that serves as a coffee table.
Hope you enjoyed!

Kim~
Hope you had a great weekend?
There is something about old furniture (especially wood pieces) that can never been compared to furniture today. It definitely has something that today's furniture does not. You have some precious pieces there.
I hope you are keeping that couch good company today...or maybe yesterday. I might be a day behind...not sure when you posted this.
You have a great eye! Beautiful pieces, all of them. Hope you enjoyed your Labor Day. We had lots of rain and wind from Gustav but fall is just around the bend, so we're not complaining!
P. S. I tagged you - http://magnoliaheartbeats.blogspot.com/2008/09/me-to-z-taggedive-been-tagged-by-lea-of.html
You find some great stuff. I find things once in awhile, but not too often. I love the radio cabinet.
Great photos of your beautiful treasures. Thanks for sharing! = )
