~Thursday Evening Ramblings~

I don't know if any of you who have "Blogger" are having difficulty, but I have been. I've been having sidebar floating difficulties, and adding links to the sidebar difficulty. I reloaded by template, well partially because I've taken off a bunch of stuff. I'll have to work on that later. I have a good friend "Echo Lafawn" who is becoming rather savy in this technical world. She may have to teach me some things soon. Ok, somebody help me! My sidebar is off floating again.Ugh!

Thanks for all the kind words about my Dad. Do you ever get used to a parent(s) being gone. I haven't yet. But, we do have wonderful promises that are ours, only for the asking.

I'll leave this with you:

What Is God Like?

NAHUM 1:7 NIV ~ 7 The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for
those who trust in him,

Much could be said about God. But the first thing we need to
realize is that God is good. He is not a bad guy. He is not
against you. He is not your problem, but rather He is the
answer to your problems.

Although the world doesn't know what God is like, they
desperately need to know Him. Even sadder is the fact that most
Christians do not really know what God is like, either.

If you want to know what God is like -- look at Jesus Christ.
He perfectly revealed God to us.

JOHN 1:18 TEV ~ 18 No one has ever seen God. The only Son, who is the same as
God and is at the Father's side, he has made him known.

COLOSSIANS 2:9 Phillips ~ 9 Yet it is in him that God gives a full and complete
expression of himself in bodily form.

Why be content to just listen to what others say God is like? You need to taste and see for yourself.

Have your own relationship with God!

PSALM 34:8 NKJ ~ 8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man
who trusts in Him!

Blessings!

Hi Cheryl,

Your sidebar hasn't disappeared...it's fallen to the bottom of your blog.

The ONLY time that has happened to me is when something in a post (HTML) gets goofed up. And that ONLY happens when I use COMPOSE to type my post. When I changed to the HTML way and type my post...I don't usually have problems with my sidebar falling down!!! LOL!! Sorry, but that just sounded too funny!

What I would do is go into the posts I'd just recently done and click on EDIT to open those posts individually, using the HTML tab, rather than the COMPOSE tab. Then click to PUBLISH POST. If it won't automatically post, the little RED warning thingy comes up at the top of your screen...just keep deleting the highlighted item in your post (HTML) until it posts. Eventually, you'll find the RIGHT, or WRONG post, whichever way you look at it...and your sidebar will get back to where it should be.

Now...don't ask me why this happens, cuz I don't know. I don't understand it...but I do know what to do to get it taken care of!!!

~Blessings,
Jan

Huh, thought it was just me with blogger, or that Satan was trying to keep me from writing my post for At the Well for Monday.

I loved the Scripture you shared, and I'm praying for you. I used to say that I could not imagine what it's like to have a parent gone - I had a rude awakening last week, though, and I could imagine it vividly, and it hurt so much. I'm really keeping you in my prayers and am sorry I haven't been faithful in following your blog like I usually am. I have gotten so wrapped up in Daddy and trying to catch up at work and just going full speed until I have officially made myself sick.

On a lighter note, you've been tagged!

Love ya!
