*2 Corinthians 4:18 ~ "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
*1 Corinthians 13:12 ~ "Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known."
*Job 26:14 ~ And these are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power?"
*Job 36:26 ~ "How great is God--beyond our understanding! The number of his years is past finding out."
Jesus, I praise Your name and thank you for Your presence in my life, and for the anointing power of Your Holy Spirit which is helping me to go deeper in Your truths and soar higher in Your power. I turn my eyes to the heavens anticipating new wisdom and deeper insights into Your sacred truths. I praise You that more and more each day, I am becoming more confident about who I am in You.
Jesus, help me to step out in faith and take my rightful place. When I come under attack, remind me how much power I have over the stings and arrows Satan fires at us. I am not helpless, I am certainly not weak, I am Your child.
Turn my heart toward worship, praise, and thanksgiving when I start to wallow in self pity, selfishness, or pride. Remind me every day that I do not live by bread alone -- but by every word that You have spoken. Every day is an opportunity to prepare myself -- every day is an opportunity to focus my mind and heart on You and Your purposes -- and every day is a day I can hear Your still small voice, helping me to resist evil, and focus on truth, righteousness, and holiness.
Let Your very real Presence in my life be clear. I acknowledge You are my safety net, my security blanket, and I thank You for all the times past when You have saved me from harm. I choose today to take refuge in You. I choose to fear the Lord and not man, and I choose obedience over willfulness and submission over pride.
I am blessed beyond measure already, and I praise and thank You for all You have provided, knowing that I will lack no good thing as I seek You first above all else. To You be all the honor and glory!
