~Giving Thanks At All Times~

A psalm. For giving thanks.

Psalms 100:1-2
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.

We need to glorify and bless the Lord not only when we receive answers to our prayers, but also when we do not receive answers to our prayers or when we do not receive the answers we are asking for? Psalms 100 counsels us to simply serve God for who He is, and what He is doing for us, not because of what we get from Him.

He is more than what we need. Those who rejoice in their unpleasant situations are convinced of God’s love which never abandons anyone that hopes in Him.
